Are there any blog search marketing companies?

I’m thinking of blogging full-time, and am curious whether there are any online companies that specialise in blog submission, optimization and traffic? I have read numerous articles that mention SEO and traffic solutions for bloggers but have been unable to find a company that may be able to do this for me. If you have any suggestions regarding full-time blogging, blog SEO or are able to suggest an online company to help me then please let me know!! Cheers

The quick answer is no, their really aren’t any that specialize in SEO for Bloggers, mostly because their is very little money to be made in it because its a very “do it yourself” kind of industry and the profit margins are low to non-existent, and are usually from Google Adsense revenues.

You are better off not worrying about the blog specialization and just finding an SEO company if you are serious about finding an agency to help you. SEO companies all have blogs and work optimizing their own blogs so they should be able to help you.

Darren Rowse is the man when it comes to learning how to make money blogging and he has some good do it yourself SEO Blogging tips (see link below).

The best advice is make relevant comments about other bloggers posts on their blogs and link to other bloggers that you read on your blog and they will return the favor. This is the best long term blogging strategy.

Virus and blog marketing?

Hi
I’d like to make the service we offer known to the national and international public through the Internet. It’s a web application (for business users) that will be soon active on a specific site. This site is already on line with an opening welcome page. I’ve often heard of virus and blog marketing. Are there any companies in charge of giving visibility and consequently producing traffic on the sites through virus and/or blog marketing? If there are, could you please give me a list of them?

It’s viral marketing. You can have it in several ways:
1- Write a PDF file, and give it away to our visitors. Encourage them to distribute the file to others. Make sure you include your URL in the file.
2- If you’re selling a product, run an affiliate program.
3- Install Tell A Friend script on your website.

For affiliate marketing both blog and WordPress are good.

But recommended is a WordPress blog as almost all the functionality that a sit can have, can be achieved in WordPress blog. Look of the homepage can be made like a site by making static homepage.

Using WordPress for this has manifold advantages as a lot of automation can be made in WordPress blog. Almost no maintenance or tech issues, further features of wordpress blog can be customized for a novoice user to a very tech-savy.
