MARKETING DISASTER-Cookie Help!?

Gourmet Cookie Help!? I have a blog to help with exposure. i don’t know if its working. I use quality ingredients in my cookies and make them with a 2 1/2 tablespoon cookie scoop, they are fairly dense and, I must say delicious. I also make brownies with unsweetened chocolate. I charge $25 a dozen for cookies some of the coffee and sandwich cookies are $40 a dozen because you get two cookies and anywhere from 30-$45 a dozen for brownies. I want to cater to a high end market. I am 22 years old and I want to do this full time. This is exspensive with God’s grace I will be successful. How can I get my name out there? I have one large corporate client, that’s a start. Some people refuse my cookies. How can i give them to people without having them throw them away. I have a tasting panel, I want this to work, so i can do this full time. thanks

I would recommend having some inexpensive flyers printed. Dress nice and take them around to shops in your area. Sometimes the most sucessful businesses begin simply by “word of mouth” so get your name out there by talking to people. Congratulations on your corporate client. That’s a huge start! I agree with you, with God’s grace, you will be sucessful. Just pray for Him to guide you in the right direction and continue to open doors. I know you’ll do great because you have God on your side. A friend of mine recently lost his job. I thought he would become destitute, but it was quite the opposite. No. There are 10Million people trying to sell their scheme online. Today there are 133 million blogs. Most have an audience of one.

One thing about internet marketing ( where you are recruiting other people to sell a product and you get paid for everything they sell) is that you must tell everyone that it is an “incredible success” even if you have not made a penny. Be skeptical.

What is the most spammed category in Yahoo Answers?

I notice a lot of spam in this section. It will follow this format:

Question: “Guys do you like this website (link)?”

Body: “Take a look do you think it’s useful?”

(A few suckers will click, not realizing that there isn’t a question but the asker just wanted you to click and buy something on the site).

Answer: “If you want to make money go here (link)/ref?=333″ or “Go to my blog for more (blogspot link)”.

The referral link means you sign up under them for the program and you make them money. Their blog likely has a bunch of Google Adsense ads that you click and they profit.

Anyway, I think it could be Advertising and Marketing, or the Career section with 500 people asking per second “How can I make money online?” What do you think? People are getting sneaky about it!

Polls and Survey, which is a magnet / haven for frivolous stuff. YA was smart to put in that category — it keeps other categories pretty clean.

Other than that, I think the LGBT Cultures group gets spammed a lot — though, I’d categorize it more as trolling.

Overall I have to agree – this category sees the most referral link / affiliate crap out there. Especially by the users with 0 points, 0% authority, yet 6 questions….

Am a college goer pursuing MBA in marketing. I want to keep track of the new commercials released. Is there any blog or website which helps to keep track of it?

Not really in a tracking sense. However, if you go to our industry websites, they might talk about it:

Brand Republic
Media
Campaign Brief

For those of us in the industry, there are tracking companies, but you pay for it. Every country will have its own. And charges could differ. You have to choose by brand/sector. You certainly will not be able to afford ‘everything’. Agencies will also have to pay for it.
