How to Find NASCAR Fans for Talladega?

I have training in Memphis, TN for my job and than I plan to week and half of vacation in the South to visit friends and tour historical sites. One of my friends lives in the great state of Alabama and the Talladega 500 is the same weekend that I am going to be vacation. I would love to see a NASCAR race but I want to see in the South and not in Cali. That is a perfect race but I need to find a way to make use social networking to find people to watch the race with. This is three months before the event happens so it should be easy for me to find people. But I all need is link or forum to either join or create a social networking event to ensure that I watch the race with other like-minded people and not by myself. Remember, it is three months before the race so there is significant time to plan and market the event to other people.

Best way to market and advertise?

Hi All, I am the co-creator of a webstie called www.outsmack.com . My friend and I built it and it’s pretty good. However, we’re not sure of how we should go about marketing and advertising it. Neither one of us have experience in that field. We have general knowledge of how we should do things. For example, we have a profilie on myspace and we plan on putting up a “commercial” on youtube. Does anyone else have any ideas on how we can advertise and market with a VERY small budget? Netiher one of us have the money to advertise too much. in theory, could i take over the world?

so i finished my assignment in english early, and had about an hour of extra time doing nothing. Bored, i decided to choose my career. This is going to be the abridged version of my profession, it would be too long to write up the whole plan.

My proposition:

I start a business, and it becomes highly successful. Dont worry about why, just know that i thought it out. Once it becomes big enough, i start buying smaller companies. My aim is to monopolize certain industries, starting with the smaller ones. In order to counteract the monopoly rule, i am going to start up another company i someone else’s name. Once i have monopolized lots of rescources (metals, timber, food, etc.) i will begin to buy the major firms. This is probably gonna take a while. When most of the companies are under my control, i will begin buying all the major banks. Meanwhile, i will be making connections with people i can trust. Eventually, i will control the stock market, then eventually the entire global economy.

Money to power:

With my social network, i will send plants that promote my agendas into congress. Since i own the media, it will be no problem getting them elected. The next election, i will send a dummy to run for candidacy and he will win. The pres will choose more of my plants for the supreme court. Because i control the 3 branches, i can alter the constitution to my needs. However, i probably will refrain from doing that so the public will not be drawn to suspicion. I will do the same with the UK and France (parliament and estates general). In china, i will track the head communist dude, assassinate him, then send in another of my plants that looks like him, acts like him, etc. Eventually, i will control the U.N., and after that, the world. All while remaining undercover.

I like to think of myself as Cosimo de’ medici or Julius Caesar (except more covert then Caesar was).

True, i would have to run it machiavellan style because ppl wouldnt listen. i know that theres gonna be a revolt eventually, followed by chaos, but im probably not gonna be alive by then.

I would buy small businesses on their way up, and eventually work to monopolize, and major in business to pick the right companies.

the one possible pitfall is that yes, it would be hard to get such a network of people. Im still working on that part lol
true, good point bradley. I knew i couldnt do it in a lifetime, and i need a competent heir to pull this off. So no supernatural powers, just good investments. im guessing my grandson will hold all the power, maybe even great-grandson.

I would still have some very trusted friends, maybe even a group of people (around 50) to run the companies that “i/we” share. Thats how i would incorporate fictitious competition. As far as the politicians, i’d just assassinate the “abe lincoln” and make it seem like coincidental (poison/anthrax).

Where would I look to find good programmers that love what they do and like to help people and are Christian?

I have a great idea for a social networking site for Christians. I have graphic designer, marketing team, and business taken care of. now comes programmer. This will be great but looking for programmers that can help to get it launched. I am even willing to find partner in this thats a programmer and has free time to help. I am not saying the programmer has to do it fulltime they can do it anytime they have the time. Preferably to have it launched as soon as possible but I realize the programmer might have other obligations. I am very fair, cool, and looking to not only build the site for a good cause but also to build a professional and great friendship with my partner and reap in the benefits of helping others and connecting Christians to speak the faith in Christianity. This will be a fun project as well and has a huge potential. Please let me know how I can find someone that would be interested. My daughter is very ill and caring for her has been hard cause I lost my job cause I had to take care of her and now with no income etc its bad. So I came up with this idea and planned it a lot.
