Affiliate marketing for my Blog?

Hi, I would like to try affiliate marketing for my Blog. I already asked this question and got some good sources, but also found from reviews that some programs are scams. I would like to hear from people that used a good program what affiliate groups would be good to join with an honest reputation originating from the USA only. I did not have much luck with Adsense even though my blogs are from Google. My blogs deal with ADHD, special education, travel, and art .Thanks.
